At first glance, the PS-26 and MS-26 might look quite similar. So, what’s actually different between the two?

The first thing you’ll notice is that the MS-26 has different propeller blades compared to the PS-26. Alex has recreated this detail very realistically, and it isn’t just visual — the MS-26 also has a higher maximum cruise speed of 335 knots.
That’s an impressive 25-knot difference compared to the PS-26!
But there’s more to the speed difference than just the propellers.
If you look underneath the tail of the MS-26, you can spot two small, triangle-shaped sensors that aren’t present on the PS-26. And, once again, Alex has recreated these details realistically.
So, what do those sensors do?
If you already know a bit about aerodynamics, this might make more sense. But in simple terms, the way air moves around an aircraft can have a major effect on its performance.
These sensors are part of the MS-26’s more detailed aerodynamic design, helping represent differences in how the aircraft interacts with the airflow.
Combined with the different propeller design and other aerodynamic differences, this contributes to the MS-26's higher performance.
So, what’s the answer?
The main differences between the PS-26 and MS-26 come down to speed, propeller design, and aerodynamics.
It might not look like a huge difference at first, but the small details make the two aircraft noticeably different — and Alex has done a great job recreating them in TFS.
